John Baldessari: WrongJohn Baldessari is a famous contemporary artist. He uses photography in his work, often images that he has found and changed in some way. This video shows some of his works and what he does.
Mr Nicholls showed us one particular image by the artist entitled 'Wrong'. We were asked to look carefully at the image and suggest why we thought it was given the title 'Wrong'. |
Some things we noticed in class was:

We had to take our own 'wrong' photos, by breaking the 'rules' of photography, around the school.

How i used my camera to make 'wrong' photographs
Lots of the pictures I have taken above don't have a subject and are pictures of random things. Some of the pictures are out of the focus, shaking the camera got this effect. Some pictures are too close up and you can't tell what its meant to be of, I did this by going close to the subject I was taking a picture of. A few of the pictures are tilted and they aren't straight or the subject isn't in the centre of the picture. A few pictures have a high contrast and the middle ground is too dark, so it is too dark to see.
WWW:I think I took a lot of 'wrong' photos and I broke a lot of the photography rules.
|
eBI:I could have broken more rules and found more things to take pictures of instead of repeating the same thing.
